Hello Islanders! Before we dive into all the awesome things you’ll find within Elf Island, we want you to understand why we are pouring our hearts and souls into Elf Island.
First off, our introduction … we are a husband and wife duo with two fantastically awesome twin boys! Our boys are the epicenter of our lives and really the #1 reason we are on the countdown to sharing Elf Island with the world!
In addition to being parents, we also consider ourselves veterans of the kids entertainment space. In our past, we have represented a slew of kid-focused brands and even launched and sold a kids Entertainment Company we founded in the late ’90s.
From our experiences in the industry and as parents we began to notice the rising popularity of virtual worlds and the interest tweens were having with them. More importantly we found ourselves repeatedly asking, “Why aren’t these virtual worlds giving kids meaningful entertainment that instills positive values?”
From this question, Elf Island was conceived.
The seed was planted and we began to see a great opportunity to build something that would entertain, while at the same time fulfill and foster strong social values.
It was one year ago – June 2007 – that we began building our vision: to create the first virtual world dedicated to fun entertainment and gaming while helping kids develop positive values that empower them to make a difference in the real world.
We’ve never looked back!
We are committed to positively influencing children around the world to give back and help better societies, communities and environments, all through the magical environment of Elf Island.

This is great! My oldest kid plays Club Penguin, but I have been searching for a place for them that will develop the values that we teach them at home. I am so interested in Elf Island and can’t wait to see what the game is all about!

No, Elf Island is not associated with Disney or VMK in any way. However, we do welcome former VMKers to join our community and discover the Secret of Elf Island!

My girls & I can’t wait to explore the new beginnings of Elf Island! Even though you aren’t affiliated with VMK/Disney, it’s ok this is so exciting to be able to have a new place to meet our friends again & play games, create & imagine in our new magical enchanting island!

The only online game i’ve ever played was VMK, but im so excited about Elf Island. This game has everything I love in life: Conservation,being green, recycling, cultural,adventerous and community! Even though I was very sad since the closing of VMK Im looking forward to starting off on my first online virtual world since VMK in the Beta period of Elf Island. If at anytime your looking for any site moderators, information about animals/the environment that you would like to know, and if your looking for site testers. Im the one to ask. Idk if you ever personally played VMK but my characters title was MichealJ and I was always very involved in the community and helping other players. I would like to help as much as I can to make sure Elf Island is a success for many years to come.

I think the site is wonderful so far. =)
Being a “tween” I think that this is a wonderful addition to our realm of virtual games. The graphics – PERFECT, although our characters a bit short in the game compared to the picture when we dress them up. I also think the houses are cool, but I don’t exactly like the fish tank in my Hobbit House. =/
I also want to have blue skin like the moderators have. (tehee)
I enjoy elf island very much. I told my friends about it and they like it. The graphics are perfect I do think it should open more as lots of people want to go on i like the house they are very wonderful =)
